Tekken 5 Black Vertical Lines DX11
#1
If I use anything apart from native, I see those damn Black Vertical Lines on screen. I have tried every resolution recommended on various forums but nothing works.

If I use 4xMSAA at native, the same same vertical lines appear at native also.

The game looks so good with x3 upscaling and 4x msaa. Ohmy But those lines.... Wacko

Has anyone found a workaround for it? Please please please let us know. Biggrin

I use:
GSDX: 0.1.16 SSE2
DX11 (Hardware)

use 1200 x 1200 resolution to fix the lines, 720 x 1280 - 1080 x 1920 works too (yes in reverse Tongue)

next time use the search function tho, it has been debated countless times already.

I tried this already. This does not work in DX11 hardware mode. And Software is no good. Sad

Perhaps a future version of PCSX2 will fix this.

Yes it does work...stop using scaling and select 'custom resolution' then do what warweeny said

It works if you disable HW hacks 4x MSAA. The best looking game is at 3x upscaling with 4x msaa. So I wanted a solution for not having black lines with 4x msaa enabled.

There is no other solution.
The best you can get off that game is 1200x1920 without any other Hardware Enhancement such as MSAA.

OK. I hope in some next PCSX2 version we can use MSAA with Tekken5. I played Shadow of Colossus and also Hulk with 4xMSAA and they looked incredibly good. It makes a huge difference with MSAA.

True, I hope so too, Kingdom Hearts 2 has issues with it too but at first I believe the resolution issue should be addressed.

but isn't scaling better than custom resolution? i have been using custom for some time. the graphics were ok. i then tried scaling. the graphics became much better. for me extra graphic details like fog and sandstorms did not show in custom
