Tekken 5 ISO won't work!
#1
Question
Me again. Hoping to speed up Tekken 5 a bit (I have a triple core CPU with 2.3GHz per core and it starts with up to 45fps, until about the third fight I have, when it sticks to about 19 to 25fps), I tried burning an ISO image, so I don't have to depend on the physical DVD. When I tried to run the ISO on a virtual drive using P.E.Op.S. CDVD (CDDA mod) 1.3.0 or execute it, it sticks to the NAMCO screen and it won't proceed. When I look at the Ps2 Output, it says:
CdRead: Reading Sector 1765753<8 Blocks of Size 2340> at Speed=24x
CdRead: Reading Sector 1765769<8 Blocks of Size 2340> at Speed=24x
CdRead: Reading Sector 1765785<8 Blocks of Size 2340> at Speed=24x
over and over again... I tried using Linuzappz Iso CDVD 0.7.0 to compress it, same thing... What do I do? Sad

You mean without compression? I ran it as .BZ2 and it wouldn't work, I didn't try without compression, if it's relevant! Sad
P.S. Oh, and, if it's relevant, I burned the ISO using Nero!

EDIT: Tried without compression. No avail.

Does it depend on that??? What's your CPU speed?

I try this game on pcsx2 r.528 and that game is working in both ISO and Dvd. Run game with execute in option rather than run cdvd. About cpu demand for this game, i think 4ghz c2d cpu speed is needed or above to play full speed.

Use Nero or MagicISO or daemon toolS program. All of those are the best for making ISO.
