A HUGE thanks to all involved with the pcsx2 project! This is a truly outstanding emulator and it's obvious that a lot of time and effort has gone into it. The fact that it works on relatively low-spec machines (e.g. flawlessly on my old i5 laptop) is a testament to that. The addition of the speedhack presets was also a brilliant idea.
