I have PCSX2 0.9.8, a PAL bios, and a very capable PC.
The Sims has always been one of my favourite games, and I can no longer play it on my PS2 (possibility to the fact that it's harder to read blue disks).
I own an original copy I bought in 2003, it has a fair bit of wear and tear, such as scratches.
Every time I boot up the game (fast or slow), it goes to the Playstation 2 logo, then the screen goes black and nothing happens.
In the console, it says [status = unknown] when I run it.
I've tried everything.
Also, no other games have any problems.
does anyone know how to fix this problem?
