Hello there.
This is the first time I have been able to run a PS2 emulator, have tried a number of time but never succeeded until now. OK. Here is the problem. I have followed the setup guide for PSCX2, after configuring the emulator I tried to run King of Fighters Maximum Impact 2. The emulator starts and the BIOS shows up it says "Sony Computer Entertainment" with the cubes and light flying around the screen then the emulator crashes and windows says that the program encountered a problem and must close.
I tried to find some clues in the console and the logs but I have no clue, then I searched the forums but there is nothing like this, a guy had a similar problem but his was an ISO problem which is not my case.
I have tried various games and also PSOne games to discard the fact that the emulator is crashing for defects on the ISO or something but nothing.
Have changed some settings in the emulator, have tried mounting the ISO in a virtual DVD-ROM drive with Alcohol but still no good. Also i tried to set the nulldvd plug-in to see if i can access the memory card interface of the BIOS but no, it also crashes. I have no clue on why it crashes. Can someone throw me some light?
Settings:
Intel Pentium IV Processor at 3.2 Ghz
1 GB DDR2 Ram
NVidia GeForce 6200 - 256 MB DDR2 (300 Mhz GPU)
Windows XP Service Pack 3
I'm using:
GSdx 890 (MSVC 15.00, SSE2) 0.1.14
Configured like this:
800x600 60 Hz
Direct3D9 (Hardware)
Pixel Shader 3.0 (My card supports it, but i have also tried 2.0, still crash)
Interlacing: None
Aspect Ration: 16:9
and i have tried Native and custom internal resolution.
Here is the emulator log:
Thanks in advance.
Sorry to bother you with so many things, I will keep trying messing up with the emulator to see if I can solve the issue.[/code]
