Timesplitters online - PCSX2
#1
Hi there folks,

Sorry if this has been asked before but I am aware there are ways of playing PCSX2 online and I was wondering if anyone's had any experience of running any of the Timesplitters games via PCSX2 and how they have managed it.

Also, which option would be the best to try online play?

1. Using pcsx2 online: https://github.com/alexsharoff/pcsx2-online
2. Using this plug-in: http://www.ehow.com/how_12185823_connect...ernet.html
or
3. Using this method: http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-How-To-Play-Online-Guide

Thanks!

#1 is based on code almost 2 years old.
#2 is mostly correct, but not completely.
#3 is your best bet, but only if the games online servers are still running(not likely)

TimeSplitters 2 had it's online component removed before the game launched, so they only kept the LAN function in. People have been playing it online for years with programs/setups like Xlink Kai and such. TimeSplitters: FP got shut down ages ago, and it too has a LAN function.

From what I've heard, PCSX2 doesn't support LAN or something? Not sure.

Hmm, would be great to see if we could experiment with it and get something working on PCSX2. It seems as though it is possible (albeit with certain games, given what the guy has done on Github). When I have enough free time I'll these options a shot and see what's possible.
