Tiny Toons Defenders of the Universe, black screen on start up
#1
considering this is a leaked beta, the set seems to be correct

PCSX2 message:

(SYSTEM.CNF) Detected PS2 Disc = cdrom0:\SLUS_201.83;1
(SYSTEM.CNF) Software version = 1.00
(SYSTEM.CNF) Disc region type = NTSC
ELF (cdrom0:\SLUS_201.83;1) Game CRC = 0x031DA682, EntryPoint = 0x00100008
(SYSTEM.CNF) Detected PS2 Disc = cdrom0:\SLUS_201.83;1
(SYSTEM.CNF) Software version = 1.00
(SYSTEM.CNF) Disc region type = NTSC

based on the thread here it should run:

http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Tiny-Toon...3-U--29662

But all I get is a blank screen. Any ideas?

Probably the game needs a specific setting to boot.
CPU: Intel Core i5-3470 Quad Core @ 3.6GHz
RAM: 8GB
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 Ti
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64

it was a wrong set apparently. instead of loading a 1.5 GB iso, (67 MB compressed) a 250 MB bin file proved to be the correct version (87 MB compressed).

Sorry, I know this game is illegal to play, but since it was never released and it is already in PCSX2 compatibility lists, it is one of the few exceptions. Until they decide to publish it on PS3 which is very unlikely.

I don't think unreleased games/betas are considered as piracy. They're like demos, where the devs and publishers never sold them for profit.

you may be right, but in this case there are also the Warner Bros licenses involved, so no need to push it further.
