Welcome to the Linux side. To start, what is your distro? 32 or 64 bit? How did you install pcsx2? What gpu do you have? What gpu driver do you have?

Thanks for the reply, how do i find out what gpu i have? sorry for being a noob.

I installed pcsx and then the pcsx2sl and portaudio pkg's

and xquartz

type in a terminal... lspci | grep -i vga

I am not familiar with this. What is it and where did it come from?

If this is referring to the pcsx-reloaded emulator, they are totally different from pcsx2.

Right, just found that I am running 64bit?

When I type that into terminal it just says command not found?

It was in the programs folder in the pcsx2 folder I dowloaded.

It is a .pkg file

Im on a mac does this make a difference?

Yep, big difference. I guess this thread needs to be moved again. I know nothing about Macs. Sorry.
