Hey Im a new PCX2 usar. I downloaded the latest version and have watched a bunch of Youtube videos on how to upgrade my speed but they are not working.
The game i am having trouble with is Star Wars Battlefront: 2
I checked the compatibility page and it says fully playable.
specs:
Processor: Intel® Core™ Duo CPU T6600 @ 2.2GHz
Installed Memory(RAM): 4.0 GB (3.84 usable)
64 bit operating system
I am using PCX2 version 9.8
I have enabled speedhacks
EE Cyclerate 2
Enabled INTC Spin Detection
Wait Loop Detection mvu Flag hack
GS: GSdx 4600 (MSVC 15.00, SSE2) 0.1.16 [ gsdx-sse2-r4600}
Pad: LilyPad svn (r4510) 0.10.0 {lilypad-r460]
Spu: Spu2-x r4600m 1.4.0
cdvd: cdcdGigaherz (r5410) 0.8.0
and all the other defaults
I have used both the plugin and the iso
i have tried using turbo
Typically i will have 60 fps (average) in menu (fine with me)
and around 5-7 fps in game even with turbo
please help...

2.2 ghz is weak, unfortunately.
you will need more CPU power.
what is your GPU ?
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

You will need to use a (Software) renderer in GSdx for that game for now, and unfortunatelly with your CPU it will be too slow to be playable then.

Not really. It'll always be a weak laptop for gaming in general, especially with PCSX2. Stick to low resolutions and don't expect too much from your GPU.
