Trying to get .pnach to work
#1
Hi,

Trying to get Mana Khemia 1 (NTSC-U, CRC 77B0236F) codes to work. Got the codes from CMP and I assumed they were in RAW format, as this is what I have read from searching on here. I created a .pnach from PCSX2CE and placed it in the cheats folder. When loading the game, the log says that it's loaded the cheats, but when playing the game, they don't come into effect, or at least, the ones I am testing with don't. I think I've followed all the instructions correctly, but as I am new to this, I'm sure there's something I've done wrong! The other thing I'm wondering is if they are actually RAW codes - I couldn't find anything saying what they were on the site, but again, I don't know my cheat codes very well either!
These are the codes I'm trying to get working:

Code:
//INF HP (9999 Style)
patch=1,EE,200A0110,extended,2405270F
patch=1,EE,200A0114,extended,AC85002C

//INF SP (9999 Style)
patch=1,EE,200A0110,extended,2405270F
patch=1,EE,200A0118,extended,AC850030

Thanks in advance for your help everybody!

They seem to b ok /and raw. Maybe they're just for different version of the game?
Try those(just slightly different):
Code:
//INF HP
patch=1,EE,200A0100,extended,8C850034
patch=1,EE,200A0104,extended,AC85002C

//INF SP
patch=1,EE,200A0108,extended,8C850038
patch=1,EE,200A010C,extended,AC850030

Nope, they didn't work either. Thanks for trying Smile They are both for the NTSC U version of the game, and I think they had the same SLUS bit... although I don't think I included that in a title or anything in the file, because I read in the information thread that it wasn't necessary? Is this correct?

Hmm.

Thank you anyway. Any other ideas?

Solved it - needed an enabler. I'd thought I'd read it was unnecessary, but there we are!

Thanks for the help.
