Trying to play the ISO of game
#1
So I've been playing the game "Melty Blood Actress Again" fine on my computer using the disc.
However at the moment I'm gonna be at my uncle's house for a while and truth be told, his dvd drive sucks.
So I thought "hey why not just use the iso"
So I turned the IMG file that was in the disc into an ISO file using several different programs but each time I try to play the iso using Linuz I get the red screen "Please insert a Playstation 2 or Playstation format disc"

Could anyone help me with this?

Did you tried making the image using ImgBurn
BTW pcsx2 0.9.7 have build in ISO loader so you don't really need Linuzappz ISO

You have to dump the entire disc using your iso maker.
Not just the .IMG file
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

Alright, I did this and I get to this screen here.

ImageShack.us

Everytime I press the disc it just brings me back to that screen
I've dumped every file on the disc.

Are you sure you make the disk correctly(place it into your DVD-ROM,start ImgBurn and make image of the disk)
What the console say when you are on that black screen

Try mount the image files on Virtual Drive, configure the CDVD plugin, Run it, and see if anything happen.
If nothing, then try redumping your game again, as the ISO type file.

I'll try this but for IMGburn which option would I choose for wanting to make an ISO from files on a disc?
