that's not really going to play modern pc games anyways though.

Is 840m really a big jump from intel hd 5500 (on i7 5500u)?
The laptop with the 840m will cost more and give less in other areas.

I'm not looking to run the newest and demanding games,
And in pcsx2 - native resolution with hacks and frameskip for the games I told will be fine(BTW, the games run ok on native*2 on my old computer with i7(sandy bridge, not ultra) and gt-540m card)

they are near the same power level. though, 840m is slightly better than the hd 5500.

I think i'll go on the i7 5500u with intel hd 5500 as it's better in other(non gaming) aspects for me.

Thanks!

don't worry, it will still offer about the similar performance (gaming wise).

I like ASUS Zenbook UX305LA and Dell XPS 13-9343 Ultrabook. Read a good information at the amazon or topreviews.best
