Unable to play Final Fantasy X

I opened PCX2 0.9.7.something. Entered the disc into my driver. Clicked on Boot CVDV, then appeared a screen in the Driver Folder

Tried both .cnm and img files. That gave me

Make an ISO of your game, using IMGBurn for example. Then boot your ISO through PCSX2. No mounting whatsoever involved.

If you want to play from the disc you need to change PCSX2 to use Gigaherz's CDVD plugin or another plugin except linuz ISO one. It is recommended to use an ISO to play the game as SamSoNight said.

I turned it into a Iso file and it worked. But it doesn't emulate well. Bad sound, image shaking... I will try a few configurations, but any advices on what plugins I should use would help me. (Thank you for your tips, honestly, I couldn't have done it otherwise.) (Note: the iso file is something like 300 Ko, normal?)

Edit: lol! THe bad image and sound thing... well, wasn't the game, was the playstation. I get the sony intro, configurations, then it tells me to enter a playstation Disck. What causes that? Note: the Iso selecter is setted to play my iso file.

Try to use fast boot, this skips the PS2 BIOS.

Same thing keeps happening. As I said before, I think the Iso I've made is some crap. An Iso file around 300 ko, never seen that. 300 mb, ok, 300 ko, what the f?

Edit: I used Magic Iso instead. Now it works! But the image quality sucks a bit... I should try a few configurations. (I wonder which plugin works the best.)

edit: GSdx would work best with scaling if your pc can handle it

If I translate it, there's absolutely nothing I can do to improve that? No plugin, no parametres? (Note: I already know about the F9 button, helped me a bit.)

To improve graphic quality, set scaling to 2x or 3x in GSDX configuration.
A proper FFX Iso should be around 4,4GB, because mine is and it works flawlessly. PAL version.
