Unexpected parameter when saving to a state
#1
Hello, so this has been happening for almost a week, where everytime I try to save to a state, I would get these popups. Nothing happens if I try to load one though.

The 3rd image shows what could be the cause, where the dialogue box is jotting out of the border, and made me think if the setting for that is wrong somewhere, unless it's meant to be that way.

At first I thought it was because of widescreen patches, but then I turned off cheats and it didn't help.I highly doubt that this is any major problem, but I can't figure it which settings I did wrong.

Anybody have any ideas?

What kind of pcsx2 version do you use?
Please post full emulog after you observed the problem.
Did you remap your hotkeys?
But really... what kind of pcsx2 version do you use??? I never saw such stuff... *-*

Right? I've been searching about this issue for a week and don't find any clue about it. starting to wonder if it's cause of my system.

Oh and I forgot to mention those. It's 1.2.1 and I've already redownloaded and reinstalled it, but still the same. I didn't remap anything either, I took those screenies after I freshly installed, keeping only the States folder.

Tbh I prolly could just ignore the popup after it popped the first time, that way I won't be getting any additional ones. But would still love to know what's the cause.

Here is the emulog when I try to save a state, still getting the popup but I don't see anything weird.

From the official page of course.

I just took the log starting from the relevant part where I first launched the iso, didn't think any part before that would matter.

Here's the full one, could be a little different since I started the emulator again but the problem still persists.

Could be an issue with cheats.

Ah I did think if it was the widescreen patches, then I tried turning off cheats and sadly no luck.

Please describe the issue better.
List all plugins you use, any custom settings.

Does saving state and loading works? The only issue is that message box popping up and nothing else? Does it happen with other games?

The 'Saving done' popup is NOT from PCSX2, are you using a third party application?

This was after I fresh reinstalled PCSX2, so all the plugins and any settings are at default. The list of plugins that have been loaded is in the emulog, if I'm not wrong. Unless there are other list of plugins that I missed? I don't really have any other issues regarding this, except it pops everytime I try to save to a state, everything is fine when I'm loading one.

Saving and loading works perfectly, and I could prolly live with this issue by just ignoring it from first popup but I just wonder what's the cause of this. Is there any .ini file that I can adjust that 'resize' parameter or something?

Now that you mentioned third party application, that could be a reason but I usually just load it by itself and no other app intending to be used together with it. Wonder if any of my running apps is causing it, but I only have Steam, download manager, and other driver softwares like Logitech Gaming Software and Nvidia.

Thanks for the help!

Are you using this: http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-PCSX2-Sav...eview-Tool
or this? http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Multi-Con...-much-more

Again, the saving done black message at the upper right corner of your window in the 3rd screenshot is not generated by PCSX2 itself.
