Ok I browsing for a moment and found out that the thread is bumped again. I finally figured out what is wrong, that is, the culprit lied in the cheat itself. From the codetwink website, the cheat that accelerated your level up straight to level 99 is buggy and I resorted to the gain 1,000,000 EXP per battle. No more freeze.

Sorry for the necro, but I found out how the All Items code can corrupt your saves, which usually occurs during Chapter 5. This code gives you dummy items as well, so you only need to sell them all before saving again after you've used whatever needed items. All of those items have no icons, so you need to search them under the tab "ALL" to sell them.

Went through the entire game except Seraphic Gate at 50 crystals with a solo maxed out Mage, so it is completely safe to use.
