I downloaded the PCSX2 from http://pcsx2mac.net/ without making any change on configuration I was trying to play the sims 2 and the urbz sim in the city but both of them has low fps in the gameplay. When it`s loading the fps is 60 but in the gameplay it is 6.5.
I have an iMac:

Sound: SPU2null 0.8.0
First Controller: ZeroPAD 0.3.0
Second Controller: ZeroPAD 0.3.0
Dev9
DEV9null Driver 0.4.0
Cdvdrom: CDVDnull Driver 0.6.0
Usb: USBnull Driver 0.6.0
FireWire: FWnull Driver 0.5.0

I am very newbie on using this emulator. Thanks for any answer.

Unfortunately, the mac version has very low compatibility, looks like the best option is using bootcamp and windows, until the 0.9.7 is out for u guys. D:

Yup its the same with star wars battlefront, 60 fps in menus and then an unplayable 2-3 fps during gameplay. Sad

So its all about the game I am playing? If I try to play another one it would probably work (like god of war)?
Well thanks for the answers anyway

well i haven't tried too far into GOW/GOW2 since i demolished both of them on the hardest difficulties in my younger days and mostly have been fascinated with gow3 for my ps3 at the moment as far as the GOW franchise goes... so i doubt they work too much further than where i got. The list of pcsx2 games for mac which work is pretty limited.
