Video and Audio Lag
#1
Ok so recently I've been trying to play the sims bustin out on pcsx2 emulator but ive been experiencing horrible lag on the video and audio and I don't dont know why I have a decent computer with:
AMD FX-6300 3.6Ghz Six core processor
EVGA GTX 960 4gb GDDR5 GPU
12gb 1600mhz DDR3 Ram
2TB Seagate HDD
On Windows 10 64 Bit
Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be? I'd really love to play bustin out for the nostalgia. Wacko

What version of PCSX2 are you using?

Part of the problem is definitely your processor. AMD CPU's have weak single thread performance, and PCSX2 relies on STP. I suggest you make sure the MTVU speedhack is enabled(go to Config > Emulation Settings > Speedhacks tab, and check the MTVU box).

Also, GDx settings and mode would be helpful. Running at Native or x2, x3, x4, etc.? The GPU is more than good enough, but running anything at higher than native resolution causes lag on some games.
