Vsync and Desktop-Composition
#1
Hi experts.. I use the most basic windows theme at home on Win7 with desktop composition turned off..

Why does vsync not work in either full screen/ windowed without desktop-composition enabled.

is there a way to get vsync to work without DC turned on? at least for full screen?

Is it enabled in config->emulations->GS window tab?

this is the same as putting a check in disable desktop composition in shortcuts compatibility tab which is it disabled the vsync ( not true vsync it will stop tearing but it will NOT cap FPS at vsync rate)

Meaning you must now set vsync in each program/game for it to work if said game/program does not have option for this you must make profile for the game via NVCP or AMD equivalent and force vsync.

As far as I am away forcing Vsync in WINDOWED and WINDOWED (fullscreen) threw NVCP will not activate vsync not sure about AMD as I aviod all there stuff like the plague.
