WANNA PLAY FFX!!!

Im in desperate need of a FFX fix. I want to play it ASAP.
I've tried in the past and have been quite unsucessful. Always seems to have very low FR and quite an annoyance.
Any ideas that could help would be greatly appreciated.
any info needed just ask

play on your ps2 instead, or buy a new one if your old one doesnt work properly, they arent that expensive anymore

Just buy a cheap GPU to throw in there. CPU is fine for this game just need a dedicated gpu instead of that weak IGP at least its better then intels offerings at that point in time.

except we dont know the psu, and that would probably be a 300w psu seeing the components

I can tell you now, a Geforce 9600GSO works on a 170w power supply, i've seen it with my own eyes! true story.

but something like a Radeon HD 5450 or 6450 uses like 20watts of power, so thatll work fine.

Edit: 5450 needs 19 watts, 6450 needs 31. Apparently the 5450 is better? Strange..

not that those cards are decent to run pcsx2 lol
and he still has a quadcore in his system, a power hungry amd no less.

Do NOT get a 5450. Not all games will run at full FPS even on native res. 3D intensive games like SMT Nocturne and Digital Devil Saga run at 45FPS, it's not worth getting a 5450 if you really want to get into emulation

gt640 good and cheap and not very power hungry,can work on 300 too i think if PSU not a noname Smile But we dont know what thread starter have Smile maybe 350?

also keep in mind that we dont know the age of the pc, powersupplies go worse by time (so a 300w psu can go to 260w output over time due to degration)
plus he hasnt responded yet, maybe we know more if he comes back...IF he comes back.
