WSOP 2005 Crash at a certain event?
#1
I play this game and it runs smooth but, whenever I play the campaign mode of 'World Series of Poker' (2005) it will crash randomly. I went through a full custom game (around 40 mins) but whenever I try playing campaign in an event, it will crash (around 3-5 mins in). Can anyone suggest anything as I'm stumped and would really love to continue playing the campaign of this game. Thanks!

I don't know anything about this game but try the EE timing hack under Game Fixes. Enable manual game fixes and check the "EE timing hack". That sometimes helps with random crashes in certain games. You may also want to download the latest GIT if you haven't already and try that - http://buildbot.orphis.net/pcsx2/index.php

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

I tried both and still the same thing, like 5 minutes in it still crashes.

That is the only emulog.txt there, do you mean the console's log? Sorry I'm new to this, I saved the console log and here it is (hopefully this is the right one):

Ok, so what I will do is restart pcsx2, run the game, when it crashes save the log and paste it here? Just need your confirmation before I do so.

And it might take me like 10mins to get the crash and paste it here btw.

no problem.
Maybe you'll have to post it as an attachment, then.
once it crashed, directly go to the logs directory and get the emulog.txt before restarting pcsx2, else it'll be erased when you restart it.

Actually, I found out why it's not posting the crash, I'm looking at the live console and when the game crashes, it does that thing where the video freezes but the audio repeats like a 2 second span of audio and just repeats it so it's still technically in the game and nothing pops up in the console for it. Any suggestions? As I desperately want to get my game working.
