War of the monster ?

I had an old war of the monster mdfs at my computer. It works on pcsx2-r3878.exe but the problem is that there are some things that doesn't work like I can't open at the menu unlock so I can unlock characters. I tried to put save game but the maps don't show up but the characters with their customes show up but as soon I start the battle it crashes.

how did you get the mdfs?

and some pc specs/pcsx2 settings may help too

I don't how I get it or convert it but I managed to convert it to an image to burn on a cd. I am trying to download a new war of the monster but it will time to download due to slow connection to check if the first War of the monster is working or have problems. When I had ps2 console to play before it malfunctioned The first War of the monster worked perfectly with no errors or problem.
