Weird problem: PCSX2 slow when laptop's plugged in
#11
The weird thing is that I've already activated the mtvu speedhack and set the minimum processor speed of my laptop to 100% using Power4Gear.

And yet the screenshot. *scratches head*

mkay. how it performs without mtvu? or can you perhaps make a screenshot of coretemp in battery mode while you have full fps? that'd maybe show what's the difference in the situation. Wink

The power option I chose: Power4Gear High Performance

Minimum and maximum processor state: 100%
System cooling policy: Enabled

This is the case, both "on batteries" and "plugged in".

I'll post it tomorrow, perhaps. It's getting late... I still have to wake up at 6pm for my students.

What a delinquent teacher I really am. XD

Hmmm,Go to power 4 gear high performance advanced settings & configure it as follows-
Minimum processor rate plugged in-100%,on battery-100%
on battery-turn off intel dpst
plugged in-turn off intel dpst
display brightness-80% on battery,80% plugged in
dim display brightness on battery-30%,plugged in-30%
turn off display after-0
on battery,0 plugged in
hiberntate after-0 on battery,0 plugged in
sleep after-0 on battery,0 plugged in
u'r graphic card plan-Maximum performance on batery, maximum performance plugged in
system cooling policy-active on both batery & plugged in
make sure u hit apply after making these changes and click ok.

If it still doesn't help, maybe problem is in u'r system or in windows.
Run full system scan with a good antivirus,i suggest avast free antivirus !!

Actually, the majority of the settings you posted have no bearing on speed whatsoever. The ones that do, have already been mentioned.
