What can reasonably be playable on my cpu?
#1
Got PCSx2 a day or so ago and been playing around with it, and I'm just kind of wondering what games would more then likely be playable with the gear I got. Obviously it's not "ninja" but as it is I have things like SF3, MvC2 and Disgaea running at 60fps when on [x] Native Resolution and without any other tooling around with the options.

Here's my CPU-Z

So, what else should work, and what can I do to make stuff work better, any other options I should be clicking?

Thanks. Laugh

i saw 800mhz on your cpu-z
did you turn on AMD cool and quiet and Power saver(Power plan) i forgot also mentioned the CPU voltage usage is at 0.850v other-like-wise it will be very weak for pcsx2.
if so better turn off C&Q and switch to "High performance"
Main PC1:i5-4670,HD7770(Active!)
Main PC2:i5-11600K,GTX1660Ti(Active!)
PCSX2 Discord server IGN:smartstrike
PCSX2 version uses:Custom compiled build 1.7.0 64-bit(to be update regularly)

Actually, that's another good point, I've done virtually nothing to make the cpu itself run better, any pointers on that would also be appreciated.

1.)disabling Q&C you need to access PC's CMOS settings you may read the motherboard's manual on how to enter CMOS(commonly hitting "DEL" key during PC bios/splash start up)--->"Power" Category(other CMOS marked "Power Management setup")
example:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BIOS

2.)for power plan (Control Panel--->Power Plan--->"set to high performance")

Cool, the "high performance" had a pretty good effect.

Street Fighter III: New Generation Laugh

So basically what I know works well is sprite based stuff with light 3D (Disgaea and MvC2)

I popped in SSX real quick and was getting 30fps, so it was working but not up to snuff. So basically I'm wondering what options in SCS I can play around with to get something better if possible.

Well, I got a 657 benchmark, so I know I won't be running God of War anytime soon. Laugh

That list was helpful tho, and I guess you could add Disgaea: Hour of Darkness and SF3 to it, cuz they both work very well for me.

I would go by this benchmark first, for PCSX2.

You also have a quad core,
so MTVU is a good help at times, I'm sure.

But if your GPU is integrated (weak),
it will likely bottleneck you first with a lot of games, anyway.
