From those? None Tongue

You already have a 3650 or so you said so I don't know how it would be better... and the 9400gt would be a downgrade, if you want a better card go for at least an ATI HD 4670 or Geforce 9600gt

Depends, if the game is currently limited by the graphics card then yes. If it's limited by your CPU it wont give more speed but you can choose higher resolutions and will be much less of a bottleneck for other games.

Edit: In your current situation with the core 2 duo 3.2ghz and HD 3650 it's very possible you're currently limited by the card anyway.

im using dual core e5400 oc to 3.2ghz, well bositman told me that core 2 duo oc to 3.2 and dual core oc to 3.2ghz will have the same speed effect, so hm i guess the card is the problem, im playing FFX but when all the members are in map and when seeing the sunset it, my fps slow down to 50 below and the rest was ok, do you think graphics card is the problem?

im using the beta right now r1888

x2 speed hack mtgs on

and im in native reso.

and using 0.1.7 of gsdx cause other gsdx make my fire spell and slow spell break my fps,,, any recommendation ?

As someone already recommended to you here, to get any effect you should get at least nvidia 9600gt or ati 4670 card. To be honest it won't give you much, better look for some nvidia 9800-series or ati 47xx card because changing radeon 3650 to nvidia 9600gt is not much an upgrade.

Keep in mind that a good video card can only prevent you from having video card limited or bottlenecked in pcsx2 or let you set a higher resolution. HD3650 is roughly same as 8600gt in terms of general pc gaming, so my guess is it should perform very close to 8600gt in pcsx2 which is the recommanded video card. In your case, you don't seem to be willing to upgrade, so instead of wasting money or spending unnecessary money, I guess you should state all of your pcsx2 settings for FFX so that we have a better idea about your problems.

Note that if you're experiencing slow down only in some occasions such as casting a certain spells, then changing a better video card will definitly solve it. Though, imo buying a not-so-high-end video card specificly for only FFX and FFX-2 is not worth it.
