What is PCSX2's logo??
#1
I see at least four different logos, and at least 3 other ones based on them:
PCSX2 window - http://i.imgur.com/iKguV2m.png
PCSX2's GitHub avatar - http://i.imgur.com/2AjzYHe.png
Website banner - http://i.imgur.com/EcSwaZa.png
Website favicon - http://i.imgur.com/aas0oia.png

Based on the original four:
Wiki favicon - http://i.imgur.com/IDBRd8U.png
Forum banner - http://i.imgur.com/UEYLfhE.png
PCSX2 AppIcon (64px) - http://i.imgur.com/nFWEO6x.png
PCSX2 AppIcon (32px) - http://i.imgur.com/eex4r1B.png

So...which one of these is the official PCSX2 logo? I think we have a branding problem and this is part of it. Personally I like the GitHub avatar/AppIcon...a lot. The 32px version does look a bit dated but it's an amazing design IMO. I also like website/forum banner quite a bit. The only one I really don't agree with is the website favicon. It's just a controller. Don't say much about PCSX2 itself. :-\

Now for some fun. How many of you have seen this icon before:

The answer is that you ALL have seen it because it's the speedhacks icon! http://i.imgur.com/h3FnCmM.png

The icons in the Emulation Settings window are too small. Clearly they have higher resolution versions of them (https://github.com/PCSX2/pcsx2/tree/mast.../Resources), how about we use them? Laugh

Website Banner might be my favorite, followed by Github Avatar and then the PCSX2 32x AppIcon.

We know about it. We have a new logo which will be the same everywhere, and would launch with the new website. But since we have server issues, we have to first find a new server then launch the new website, then use the new logos Tongue
BTW not much you can put in a favicon and actually be discernible, I don't think we can improve there.

Oh sorry I should have mentioned that I liked the favicon for the wiki better since it's the x from the PCSX2 logo on the wiki and the main emulator window.

Hm that won't do since it won't fit the new logo. Let's get some new ideas after you people see it Tongue

Actually the PS2's BIOS menu is some cool ***** with the glowy orbs and the crystalline pillars and the fog. Sometimes i just let it play like that because it was pretty as a backdrop.

We're supposed to be working as a team, if we aren't helping and suggesting things to each other, we aren't working as a team.
