Windows 10 won't detect bluetooth adapter
#1
HI.

I am having annoying problem with my Bluetooth adapter on my windows 10,having hard time solving this..

My current Bluetooth adapter I am using:

http://www.speedlink.com/?p=2&cat=281&pid=26716&paus=1

I tried those steps:
Scanning and fixing  drivers

Quote:Before you try doing what's basically an OS reinstall, try scanning for corrupt system files first:

didn't work

Resting my PC using those steps used to work:

Quote:If that doesn't fix anything, then backup all your important files and follow this tutorial to reset your PC.

Here's how to make a system image:

Here's a guide you can download:

Here's how to reset with pics:

The quick and easy version is to go to Settings > Update & Security > Recovery > Reset This PC > Click Get Started

I tried 3 times this method, doesn't seems to work anymore... (worked once, the problem returned and tried it again...) Windows won't detect  My bluetooth adapter anymore..

I am out of ideas... Will glad for some help.. thanks

I tried this:

Can you help me bypass this problem?

I downloaded BluetoothDriverInstaller_x64,Heard it might solve this problem...  system restore need to be activated...

But still getting this error:

Quote:Error: Cannot create file "C:\WINDOWS\inf\bth.inf". Access is denied

Any idea how to fix?

OK,I took ownership but

Now,while not getting that error, but now saying

"Sorry. It seems installation wasn't successfull. Unable to contact your bluetooth adapter."

Sad

Any idea now?

Best bet would be checking if Speedlink has a forum or google that error code with your brand BT adapter and model no.

Could you link some Windows BT drivers? I tried another adapter, same problem.. so it's definitely a problem with drivers or something.

EDIT:
Is there a way to update/fix BT registry files? thanks
