RE: Windows 8
They haven't stated an official release date, but they've hinted at late 2012.

RE: Windows 8
True Fezzer, the prices for the OS are outrageous, I mean seriously 150/200 euro's a piece for a retail copy and only if u buy a new pc u can get one for free or pay about 50-70% less, which still is a ripoff imo. Linux is so well developed nowadays, that u can play window games with ease Smile

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-990XA-UD3 AM3/AM3+
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 980 Black Edition 3.7 Ghz (Stock)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 16 GByte DDR3-1600 CAS10
Graphics Card: Club3D Radeon HD 7870XT JokerCard 2048 MB
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64
Sound Card: Logitech Z-Cinéma 2.1 Speakers (USB) 180 Watts RMS
Monitor: Samsung Syncmaster EX2220
PCSX2: 1.1.0.r5554

Maybe nobody can test PCSX2 because they do not have the appropriate driver for Windows 8.

Running Win8 right now as my main OS (and only one)

Task manager is way better.
UI is really nice (and hardware accelerated)
Uses less RAM on startup than my Windows 7
Starts up very quickly

A bit buggy at times but it's great.

And PCSX2 works on it (though not the sound plugin by default)
