Wont identify my DVD drive (beta)
#1
Hello. I try to run the game Kingdom Hearts through my dvd drive but for some reason the beta only supplies me with ISO plug-in and the only DVD plug-in I can find does not identify my DVD drive (on letter F:), only my CD drive (on letter E:).
(Letters so you don't just think mixed them up haha)

So what is the workaround? Do I need to make it into an ISO and if so how on earth do I do that?
Is there a more proper/newer DVD plug in I can use? (I'm using the one that came with the official release 0.9.6 called cdvdPeops.dll).
Am I doing it wrong?

Thanks in advance!

Edit: Okay, MSN friend is giving me step-by-step guide on how to create an ISO so help with that is not needed. But I still would like to know the other stuffs :D

try and find the EFP plugin. It will rip your game to an iso for you. I'll try to edit in a link soon.

edit: this is where I got mine, as it wasn't included for me either, you need to register for the forums though. --> http://forums.ngemu.com/ps2-plugin-quest...-find.html

Oh but I already found a way to make an iso, I just need something so I don't need to create isos so that I don't take up hard drive space.

I guess you could give Gigahertz' plugin a try, but I don't see why it doesn't detect your F drive..

You can also try Gabest's cdvd plugin.

Are you asking if it will, or confused that it did?

I'm confused. But the pricetag on the FPS boost was the small loading times whenever a new sound is loaded Laugh
I can live with tha.

if that still doesnt work, load the image in daemontools then use the virtual drive to play your iso's

He said it worked, and besides, not only was the point that he didn't want to use an ISO file, but mounting the image to a virtual drive will include unnecessary steps to reading the image file.
