According to this video, it does work:

I recommend dual shock 4 though since I can vouch for it since I am using it for a while now with no problems.

Yup, it should work with any game that supports Xbox360 pad. it also work nicely with any normal semi-recent Bluetooth dongle unlike the Xbox one controller which can't be connected through Bluetooth. All you need is this tool:

I don't know... i would never recommend an DS controller over an XB controller because of compatibility. XBox controller work using Plug&Play while you need XInputWrapper (DS -> XB Controller emulator/wrapper) for DS controller to work. So if a game supports Xbox controller you might be able to play with DS controller.

Another thing is the usability. If you like DS controller buy a DS controller. If you like XB controller use those.

I have both and use the XBox controller for pcsx2.

I would just recommend whatever controller you like best, ofc. For me, DS3. Although I used an original Xbox controller(modded to USB) as a gamepad for a LONG time too.

Mmm... yes, it make sense Biggrin So do you have a xbox ONE (the new model, i mean: http://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B00NM3GI...L2PNWYJU7H ) controller and it works without problems?

Sorry for insisting on this point, but i want to be sure enough before buying it Wink

no I have an old xbox controller... But xbox controller are made by microsoft. I guess the native support of xbox controllers will always be better than support for ds controller.
The only reason to consider a DS controller for pc is that the DS controller is really some awesome piece of hardware. (still I like XB more Laugh)

If the controller works with windows and has sufficient amount of buttons/analog inputs it will work with pcsx2. Just check if you can use the new xbox controller with your windows version. The one you linked should work just fine.

I know of at least two people on here that have used it without problems.

The ultimate point is if it will work with PC, it will work with PCSX2.

I used it w/ the drivers for the XB1 controller installed and no other software outside of setting the movements and buttons in the pad plugin with no problems whatsoever 100% reliable.
