XInput Wrapper for DS3 and Play.com USB Dual DS2 Controller
(01-29-2014, 12:29 AM)Scarlet.Crush Wrote: @Sky-Dragon: I would recommend buying a well-known brand Bluetooth 4.0 dongle if you are buying a new one. I personally use Belkin BTH 4.0 dongles (uses Broadcom chip).

@Thigz: I have not added support for "fake" controllers as I simply don't own any and would have no way to test any changes required to get them working or to troubleshoot any problems reported.

@Zolcillonca: I would suspect that your controller is not a genuine Sony DS3 - the 241 that is being displayed is an Invalid value for Battery Status.

I changed the displayed value of HCI & LMP versions to be a hex string instead of a decimal string - 1311 hex = 4811 decimal.

Normal behaviour of a genuine Sony DS3 when you disconnect from USB
- all 4 LED's should flash while the DS3 is connecting on BTH.
- once connected 1 LED should be solid (or flash depending on Battery Status)

@PB84: DS3s display the SCP controller ID on the LEDs. There is no conflict with X360 controllers. Open ScpMonitor, in configuration Disable Native Feed - then run ScpUser to view XInput from your controllers.

@DirtyShady: use ScpMonitor to view Battery Status of attached controllers.

LED/LightBar for DS3/DS4 :
USB - Solid = Charged, Slow Flash = Charging
BTH - Solid = 40% or above, Fast Flash = less than 40%.

Hi,

Thanks for the info. I managed to sort things out and even make the xbox controller to be player 2 now (some pc games like Superfrog HD only lets you play with the 'player 1' controller). But in the middle of this tinkering I discoverd another small thing. In short my ds3 will rumble only when plugged via usb in all my pc games as well as in the pcsx2. But as soon as I switch to BT connection all is well except that rumble is gone, even in the ScpUser input viewer. I plug it to the USB and it start to rumble again.

I roll back to the older drivers and the same thing happens. So is this normal that with the BT you have to sacriface rumble? Did I overlook something? Could the yetifrisstlama2's fix from the Post: #1821 mess this up?Smile Or could it be the feature of the 'less genuine' ds3's?Smile

To be honest I can live without the rumble, it's small nuance for me but I wanted to know if some of you guys have similar problem.

Cheers!

It's possible to use DS4 Gamepad with this ScpDriver ? Because I install it (Windows 8.1), and in ScpMonitor I don't see DS4, my DS4 LED is white, but don't seems to work.
With this driver I don't have problem with DS4.

http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-DS4-To-XI...r?page=119

But with my DS3 your driver works very well.
Anyway to add hardware id USB\VID_0A5C&PID_21E8

Excuse me I don't read first post. I resolve my problem.
if possible, add the support for Belkin Mini Bluetooth® V4.0 USB Adapter

USB\VID_050D&PID_065A

And thanks for your work, it's the best way to connect the ps3 pad to the pc i found soo far Laugh
I know BT fonction works totally different with DS3 and DS4. But I have DS3 and DS4, and I love this 2 gamepads for differents reasons.

Do you think it's possible to add possibility to switch easily BT DS3 Mode and BT DS4 Mode ?

It's not possible to use DS3 and DS4 on same BT dongle ?

Thanks for all !
Been using your app since September, and from the bottom of my heart, thank you for this. Its so nice being able to just connect the controller with no blasted config that MotionNoJoy required. However, just today I discovered an issue and for the life of me cannot figure it out after hours of tinkering and searching.

I cannot get button sensitivity to work with PCSX2.

I dunno if I'm missing something here, or reading over how to make it function, but I've tried using Lillypad scp r5350 and r5822, with and without the provided xinput.dll file in system32. Then tried the same with Pokopom. No love. Nothing relating to native feed is disabled.

Im using USB exclusively, if that makes a difference. And this Windows install is less than a month old with very little else running. Also, scpuser would crash upon startup unless I had the matching dll put into system32. x64 crashes no matter the situation.

It's possible that its one of those "gotchas" that i just keep looking over. I even uninstalled SPC and the xbox controller software, then re-installed them as the guide said to, just in case i went out of order on initial installation.

I dunno, man.

News update!
-----

Okay, so after going out and having a smoke, it occurred to me that maybe I should put the dll into the pcsx folder, which brings about a change. It crashes when you attempt to configure a plugin with the x86 variant, but nothing at all happens still with the x64 version.

Thanks for the swift reply, I will look out for a Belkin one then! Smile

I made a huge mistake today so I will surely get a Belkin one now... since I was busy the last two days I asked my brother if he could pick me up a Bluetooth 3.0 or 4.0 dongle from a well known brand. Fast forward a few hours later he came home with a 3.0 Dongle made by Trust. I facepalmed but realized it was my own fault since I said "Well known brand" and since my brother isn't too knowledgeable about computers, Trust... well they are a well known brand.

I plugged the thing in and was presented with "Unknown Device" so yeah now I finally managed to get it installed using a ASUS driver but I'm still not too hopeful if the DS3/DS4 driver will work so I will most-likely return it on Monday and go with Belkin.

EDIT: Interesting, despite not being too hopefully I actually managed to pair my DS4 with the Trust Dongle though my DS3 doesn't seem to like it at all as it simply never connects to it. Though I wonder, is it even possible to use a DS3 and a DS4 simultaneously with one dongle?

EDIT 2: Nope my DS3 doesn't like this new dongle at all, even after disconnecting the DS4 and restarting the service the DS3 just blinks itself into oblivion Sad Another question though, would it be possible to run both dongles simultaneously, one for the DS3 and one for the DS4?

EDIT 3: Here is what happens when I try to connect my DS3:

Final EDIT:

The Trust Dongles Hardware ID is: USB\VID_0CF3&PID_3000&REV_0200

Anyway how can I modify the code? i suppose i need to modify scpcontrol.dll right?
Thanks for the reply
You need to download sources, modify files according to this post http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-XInput-Wr...#pid342036 and change this line
Code:
if (Buffer[10] == 0x00 && Buffer[9] == 0x26 && Buffer[8] == 0x5c)
like this:
Code:
if (Buffer[10] == 0x00 && Buffer[9] == 0x26 && Buffer[8] == 0x37)

Then compile the sources, change ScpControll.dll to your modified one and look if it works.

Try to retain direct line of sight between your DS4 and Dongle. Also try to keep any other RF devices as far away as possible.
It seems that you solved by accident my problems with lagging fake DS3 controller Smile Smile Thanks!
First time registered. Long time trying to use this but to no avail as it either bluescreens my computer or freezes it upon usage. I use Windows Vista 64 and if I install it the way it says aka the program first then the xbox controller driver. It freezes before I can install the xbox controller driver. When I do it another way. Xbox driver first then program It doesn't freeze but then doesn't notice my PS3 controller either and bluescreens upon me either restarting the service or stopping it for any reason. I've made sure there are no traces of motionjoy left on my computer as well.

I'd like to get this working if I can because this is my lasy hope of getting my PS3 controller to work on my computer.
