(05-14-2015, 07:19 AM)Nanox Wrote: It cant make it work.

When i connect my controller after installing the drivers, the four lights of the controllers start blinking and after a while they turn off, also the device and printers manager shows a xbox 360 controller always connected to my PC, even if the DS3 controller is not connected, and when i connect the controller its being recognized as a ps3 controller.
I post some images of whats happening and my logs.

Looks like you didn't install the bluetooth driver.

Hi,

I also have trouble making it work.

The software installed successfully and the service running, my BT dongle is detected as BTH DS3 Device, but when I plug a DS3 controller ... nothing happen in SCP.
No controller detected in SCP Monitor
No new entry in SCP Server GUI.

-- Install Summary --
SCP DS3 Service
Bus Device
Bus Driver
Bluetooth Driver

The controller is detected by Windows as a Playstation 3 Controller with a 2006 Microsoft driver though.
If I run SCPDrivier.exe and click Uninstall, the BT Dongle is detected as a BT dongle once again (can even connect my DS4 wirelessly to it).
Running Install (even Force Install) again doesn't change anything unfortunately.

T__T

EDIT : answer provided by RayfenWindspear below (forced reinstallation with update and both dongle & controller plugged in) worked. A reboot was required for the automatic pairing to work.

Hi,
Sorry if I upsetted someone seeing as my previous post was deleted. Could an admin or mod tell me what I did wrong in order not to do it again ?

I have the following problem :
BT dongle was working fine (and still is) before SCP Driver installation. I can even connect my PS4 controller (although it is only detected by a few game withtout a xinput wrapper).

The driver installation was successful (including BT driver), the service is running, and the BT dongle is now detected as a BTH DS3 Device.

But when I connect a DS3 controller via USB, it is only detected as a Playstation 3 controller (and I don't have a 360 controller listed in the devices) and their is no pairing since disconnecting the USB cable makes the PS3 start.
Neither SCP Monitor nor SCP Server gui is displaying anything new after the having pugged in the controller.

I have tried to repeat the installation (after uninstalling) and checking "Force Install", or even rebooting after the driver installation, but still got the same reply.

Does someone has experienced this and found a solution?

PS : I can attach SCPServer log or SCPDriver installation log, but since it is what I did last time and still don't know why my message was delete, I prefer to wait for someone to need it.
Your previous post wasn't deleted, it was flagged accidentally by an overzealous automatic spam flagging thing that tests posts from users with < 3 post.

It was more informative, so I have approved it as well. Sorry for the inconvenience.

You may have to use the zadig tool to forcefully install the drivers. But first try this. Your install log shows that you first installed before applying the update. Try uninstalling everything, make sure the update is applied, then make sure both controller and dongle are plugged in before doing a reinstall with forced checked.

If that doesn't do it, zadig it. There are instructions for a DS4 on the first post which you can follow but make sure to do every step for a DS3 instead.

EDIT: Oh and I believe that ScpServer won't automatically pair the controller like the service does. There is a button to do so.

The controller I was writing about in an earlier post uses a usb dongle to send/receive the proper signals.

Oh, I don't know how to help then. Is that controller known to work with this? If I had to guess I would say that the drivers installed by this program don't know how to operate the wireless receiver properly.
I have that particular controller as I said.

On PS3 it's detected as a PS3 controller connected via cable(e.g. the dongle plugs in the USB, and PS3 sees that as the controller itself).

I was never able to make it work on PC, and as I said I also had issues on PS3. It's a POS IMHO >_<
