XInput Wrapper for DS3 and Play.com USB Dual DS2 Controller
I absolutely cannot get my DS3 to pair with my Asus BT211 dongle. Interestingly, most places I've searched dictate that the dongle's hardware ID should be USB\VID_0B05&PID_17B5 while mine is listed as USB\VID_0B05&PID_1785.

I'm running the regular (non updated version) of your driver package.

@AstronomyDomine: added your hardware id, see Post #639.

Thank you!

One more question, I feel like I'm missing something with the bluetooth pairing. Here are the steps I've taken:
  • Installed drivers for brand new Asus BT211 from included CD
  • At this point, pairing the DS3 is impossible (which is normal I'm guessing)
  • Installed Xinput wrapper
  • Installed update for my hardware ID

Now from what I understand, simply plugging in the DS3 via USB should pair it with the dongle, but nothing really happens.

I feel like I'm missing something.

Thanks in advance.
@AstronomyDomine: yes, plug in via USB while the service is running to pair. If it is not connecting via Bluetooth do the following -

1. Unplug your DS3 from USB.
2. Restart the Service (or reboot your PC).
3. Plugin your DS3 to USB.
4. Wait 30 seconds.
5. Unplug your DS3 from USB.
6. Wait 30 seconds.
7. Plugin your DS3 to USB.
8. Wait 30 seconds.
9. Unplug your DS3 from USB.
10. Wait 30 seconds.
11. Zip up your ScpService.log and ScpDriver.log and post as an attachment.
Just if people are interested. My Plugable dongle arrived, and works perfectly. From what I found this is if not the highest, then one of the higher rated bluetooth 4.0 usb dongles for PC

Question to Scarlet.Crush. I remember reading in your instalation post, that once the dongle is configured with ScpDriver.exe it will only work with DS3 and your tool. It won't be able to connect to say bluetooth mouse, or a smartphone.

1) What steps would one had to do, to reverse that, so that the dongle would be in original state, and was able to pair with the other bluetooth devices (keyboards, mouses etc)?
2) Lets say I have 2 bluetooth dongles, A) and B). I intend to use dongle A for the XInput Wrapper tool, and dongle B as a normal bluetooth dongle. Can I do that on the same machine, or the driver we install is the driver that will alter any bluetooth dongle we will attach to the PC, whether current or future dongles?

cheers
Lucas

I've attached the files, thanks for your help.
Soyo just have only A plugged in when you install SCP and it will use only A so that when you plug in B it will act like a normal Bluetooth Dongle and to revert A back to normal just uninstall SCP and it should revert back to normal and if it doesn't you can force it to reuse the old drivers by heading into Device Manager.

Well, something is wrong then, because my second dongle is not seen by my smartphone, and I remember testing it when I received it, and it was seen.

I uninstalled the driver for this dongle, but it still didn't help. My Smartphone cannot find the bluetooth dongle thsat is connected to my PC.
