Reboot doesn't do anything better :-(

Tried with windows original bluetooth drivers and with updated constructor drivers ... same ! (my dongle is TrendNet TBW-107UB)

I'm able to pair my DS4's without DS3 tool, but not with Ds4Pair

I'm running on W8.1

it's a very small piece of code that does the mapping and does not introduce any overhead

Sony DS3 Model# CECHZC2U [a1] & TrendNet TBW-107UB BTH
I did some more testing, and found out the trigger has nothing to do with it, its the D-Pad (aka hat switch), sometimes it will get stuck going left or right, say in a playformer game, even though I've let up on the left/right button. So basically the stuckness only happens in the D-Pad. In the past hour or so of gaming I've been testing it to get more info. This doesn't happen with the previous driver v1.0.0.103.

So you're also facing a problem with BT drivers (i've also TrendNet TBW-107UB dongle)
@znation: your dongle looks to failing the on the HCI_Set_Event_Mask call. I've modified the mask used and attached a test version of ScpControl.dll. Can you stop the service, drop the dll into your install directory, start the service. Then zip up and post your ScpService.log.

@dink: stuckness & lag tend to indicate that report packets are getting dropped on BTH (usually signal interference) - do you see the same behaviour when connected via USB?

Can you both post your BTH Hardware VID/PID/REV.

Getting same error as above two, But mine may be a different brand/model BT dongle; Kensingtom MN:M01011 SNLaugh1023A
This is the same one I used this entire time for DS3 wireless.

DS4 works (have not game tested) in calibration as it should. But I get this error while DS4 is connected via USB too.

Thanks for the Reset to Defaults tip, I hate reseting things so I never press those buttons.

Sounds better with this DLL (no more error in DS3 Monitor, see screenshoot), but still impossible to pair my DS4 controller with DS4 pair (with or without updating bluetooth drivers with zadig) and i can not press start prehaps it's already started or can not start don't know , in USB it appears in DS3 Monitor.

Here's is what you want : USB\VID_0A12&PID_0001&REV_5276

Attached ScpService and Ds4Pair logs if it can help you

Thanks for your support.

PS : i go sleeping will reply you tomorrow ...

I've done some more testing, and if I use the ScpService.exe from the previous driver, it works absolutely fine latency-wise, but as soon as I replace the ScpService.exe with the new one, it starts lagging again. I noticed that the new service sets the priority to Realtime, and .103 uses Normal. The problem also only happens via bluetooth, Vid_0a12&Pid_0001&Rev_8891

Thank you for your time,

Thnaks for the new version Smile

I've tried several times to install bluetooth according to the instruction in post #1854, unfortunately I received blue-screen. I use Windows 8.1 64bit.

Could I kindly ask you to add support for my bluetooth?

I have 2 dongles, with motionjoy it was a pain to configure, but as time went on I figured out how to force auto-driver installations to use drivers I WANTED them to use.

I switched from the 0A12's to my newer dongle, ASUS BT211 (the mini-Asus BT dongle)
USB\VID_0CF3&PID_3002&REV_0001

AND IT WORKS! Wired & Wireless!

Im pretty sure I both dongles are BT 2.1+, but since the Asus isnt listed on the supported list I followed the "Do this for unsupported dongles" instructions.
Everything worked.
now I have the DS4 detected via wired and when I hit the PS Button. =D Thanks a lot S.C

For anyone having trouble, I advise you restart (remove everything) make sure to follow the 1st Page post about Stopping and Starting the SCP Service when its needed.
^I skipped this part the first time, when I was dragging and dropping the new version archive files into my pre-existing SCP DS3 folder.
Just start over, Stop the service >> Delete the folder >> get the Drivers .7z & Tool .7z >> Drop them in the same folder ( **Not sure if this mattered, did this the second time and its working now**>> Drop in the Tool .7z BEFORE the Drivers .7z, theres that ScpControll.dll in both, so it should be overwritten if do Drivers .7z then Tool .7z ...not sure if this mattered, but this could be it? cause it works now)

Then Follow S.C's instructions on Page 1, like this is your FIRST Install.
then move onto these S.C instructions above.

^did my install/setup exactly like this.
Everything works, so far no errors.
Note: have not game tested yet.

Also can anyone tell me how to charge the DS4? mine just stays Red light when plugged in, I heard it needs to pulse Orange to charge and Off when its done charging.
Bought the Controller only, love the feel of it, want it to play on PC so I didnt want to plop down $500 for a paper weight if all I keep playing is PC games.
@znation: so looks like the mask change fixed the startup in ScpService. The Ds4Pair tool also uses ScpControl.dll, so if it is in a different folder from ScpService you will also have to copy ScpControl.dll to that folder.

@dink: can you run the Service from 1.1.0.136 and manually change the priority from Real Time to Normal from Task Manager before connecting any DS3/DS4s and see how it runs.

@dielectric: Both Zadig & ScpDriver install WinUSB drivers onto the dongle, so if Zadig fails ScpDriver would also fail. It sounds like your dongle is not compatible with WinUSB, sorry.

@HyeVltg3: good to hear you got it working. It is looking like the 0A12's have issues with the HCI_Set_Event_Mask call, which can hopefully be fixed.
