XInput Wrapper for DS3 and Play.com USB Dual DS2 Controller
Hi! I've just installed the program but when I'm playing and I have to press R2 or L2 triggers, it seems like the buttons get stuck. For example I just ride a car in GTA and when I speed up, the controller only accelerate until it crash into something and then not responding... anybody has the same problem?

I have had this for years in my gameroom steam box and love it, so a huge thank you to the dev, but.. with some resent games 4 isn't cuting it. Is it possible to install a 2nd copy of this for 8 controls? Even if wired only?

However I stopped using it for a while (was playing other games that don't need gamepads) and now it has stopped working. I have tried completely uninstalling the drivers from ScpDriver.exe and deleted everything, before redownloading the package and using the instructions on this page, but still nothing.

I plug in the controller, and I get the windows device connected sound, the 4 lights at the top turn on, and that's it. the SCP monitor shows 4 "disconnected", the controller doesnt work for anything. I unplug the controller and press the PS button, and it works straight away on the PS3 again. Xbox 360 controllers still work with my PC.

Any ideas to help fix it? I'm on windows 7 (64) with an AMD FX8320 if it helps.

Best thing I can suggest is to make sure you still meet the first 3 requirements for using the drivers:

1. Microsoft .NET 4.0
2. Visual C 2013 Runtime.
3. Latest DirectX Runtime.

It may sound funny, considering these should already have been installed before, but let me tell you: Last year I had been using these dualshock drivers for just over a year, and they were working great. Only on rare occasional when windows 7 would load up it failed to run these drivers, and a reboot usually fixed it. Until about October last year, it failed to run no matter how many reboot attempts I made. After some frustration, and finally reviewing the install steps, I discovered that for no known reason the Visual C 2013 Runtime no longer existed on my computer. Re-installing that fixed the issue, and it started working as well as it had before.
Can this work with just the bluetooth built-in the laptop? Rather than buying a dongle?

yes it is possible...
i have a HP pavillion 15 p045tx .. and the inbuilt bt is working perfectly Wink
follow this guy's instruction

heyy thanx for the awesome driver..
i got it working with the usb connected..
and also the BT was working with help of Zadig ..
but now i had done a full system format..
i re did the exact same steps as before.. but now the DS3 is not connecting via BT..
i can see the incoming BT request in the SCP driver log when i power on my DS3
but the lights on DS3 keeps flashing .. and nothing else happens..
this is the log while switching on the DS3 with usb disconnected

another thing to be noted is that.. even when i connect it via USB .. the 4 LEDs keep flashing .. then i have to press the PS button then it connects as controller 1

Probably my problem is typical here, but i couldn't find any FAQs in this thread.

All drivers installed without checking "force install" and wired connection works fine. I can connect my Dualshock 3 over bluetooth by simply pressing "PS" button while ScpServer is running, gamepad is visible to system, but nothing happens when i try to use it, buttons and sticks simply don't work. :/ How can i make it work as expected?
I would like to ask if the driver works with multiple usb ports.

Basically I needed to connect two controllers using usb. One of them always worked, and the other didn't (it always showed up as USB 00000000 None in scpmonitor). I changed the usb port and always the same result. Then I tried connecting a usb hub to the same port as the controller that was working, and then connected both controllers to the hub. This way I managed to get them to work. However it's inconvenient to have to connect the hub each time.

Is this a problem with the driver or is it something wrong with my setup?

This is my first time installing SCP Driver and using a DS3 in PC. i have downloaded the latest version and update ..unfortunately i have the same problem as ashwinvishesh when connecting via BT, it keeps on flashing the whole time.

Although initially i was thinking mine wouldn't work since my DS3 is a knock off version. Dongle seems to be in the supported list (USB\VID_0A12&PID_0001).

Log files seems to be on loop on this :

Any help to make this knock off DS3 work via BT will be great! Thanks!

Never mind... tried it on another PC and multiple usb ports worked fine. I just can't figure out why it doesn't work on the first one I tried. Oh well the slight inconvenience of the hub isn't enough to turn me off this driver, it's still better than the alternative
