XInput Wrapper for DS3 and Play.com USB Dual DS2 Controller
So, I just installed the latest version on Win 10 and it's working nicely with my DS3, but it won't work if I unplug the usb cable (wirelessly).

Any tips? The Monitor says: BTH 00000000 None

Hello!
First, I want to thank the developers for this product. It is the only one of these programs, which helped connect my joystick on ps3 sixaxis.

I had a number of questions:
1) I decided to upgrade to the version [1.2.0.160] to [1.2.2.175], but in step number 8 in update(8. Start the Service [net Start "SCP DS3 Service" - from an elevated command prompt, or use Service Control Manager]), I have a problem. How this step is important not to miss? Like all works of the functionality used by me.

2) When installing the drivers, I have not used the force install and disabled the installation of Bluetooth driver because of fears that after their installation, I can connect via Bluetooth joystick only and nothing else. This issue was at the same MotioninJoy program, my fears were in vain or is there such a problem?

I have a windows 10, ps3 sixaxis.

Thank you for the answer, and ask forgiveness for the poor knowledge of the language

To all who might know.
I was playing a game using the legacy scp driver and when I quit the game I noticed that my network speed was unusually slow.  When I went into task manager performance I saw scpserver using as much bandwidth as Internet download manager which was in the process of downloading several hundred megabytes of data.  Anyone know why scpserver would be pulling this kind of load over my network card?  I hate to think that somehow the download has been compromised and someone is capturing data.  I am using version: 1.2.0.160.
In the LilyPad 0.110 settings, Dualshock 3 Native Support is still greyed out even after the install of XInput Wrapper and also I can't calibrate the controller when I go to settings in Device and Printers. Any help is greatly appreciated.
This thread is so huge... apologies that I haven't read the entire thing. I am really at a loss as to how to troubleshoot an issue I'm having with my install.

Here's where I'm at in the process, I got version 1.2.0.160 installed, and upgraded to 1.2.2.175 via the zip method. (I was having problems getting the unblock button to work. And yes, I zipped both the main files, as well as the upgraded files to ensure the unblock button was actually being applied.) Install success

I ran ScpMonitor and nothing was there, no host connected, no pads connected.

Next, I launched Zadig to see what was going on with the driver, and think that I potentially did something wrong here.

In Zadig, I went to the "Options" menu and selected "List All Devices." From there I selected the "2in1 USB Joystick" device to take a look at what driver it was seeing. I then clicked "Replace Driver" thinking I would be given an option as to which driver I wanted to replace it with... but it's stuck on the "WinUSB (v6.1.7600.16385)" driver.

The problem with this is now the controller will not stop vibrating... I launched ScpMonitor and am seeing a pad connected, but host address says disconnected. (Is the host address portion just for the BT server?) So I've tried to take steps to fix this situation, first by changing the driver of the controller via the Windows device manager, which stopped the vibration but ScpMonitor didn't recognize the controller again. Then I tried to uninstall the controller entirely, and start fresh, only to find that the "WinUSB (v6.1.7600.16385)" is now what is being installed as the default generic HID controller driver, and not the official Microsoft driver.

I am frustrated after hours of trying to troubleshoot this with the damn thing vibrating the whole time... Does anyone have any insight or direction they could point me to get this working? All I wanna do is play MGS:5... I'm not really technically savvy enough to know what I did wrong, or how to fix it without guidance, so I'm hoping someone here is kind enough to lend me some help.

--Edit: I am now remembering the op note that the project was in an abandoned state and has been unofficially been updated by another developer. I forgot to look into the updated versions and am doing so now. Will remove this reply if I figure it out.

The Filter Driver + Wrapper is no longer supported.

An updated XInput Wrapper is included as part of the Driver Package and maintains backward compatibility with :

- DS3 on SCP Filter Driver
- DS3 on libusb-win32 Filter Driver
- DS2 on Play.com USB Adapter
- SpeedLink Strike FX pad.

To all considering this tool:

I would highly suggest that you use the newer fork mentioned as the legacy code connects to the internet and sends data to who knows where.  It is the ScpService.exe program that is sending the data and god only knows what it's sending.  I have checked the newer fork(GUI install) via the link and it is clean without the potential keylogger aftertaste.
First of all, I'd like to thank everyone who created this, it's much better than Motioninjoy.

I've been using this for a while now to use my DS3s wired, but I haven't had any luck getting it to work over Bluetooth. I'm running Windows 10, my HCI and LMP versions show up as 3.0c5c.

Here's what the logs look like after I unplug a controller (hoping it will connect to the BT):

Thank you!
