Xenosaga Episode 1 crash during cutscene

thats all you can do, use save states and hope you get a save point that works

The save point in Shion's Room is also bugged and will also reset the game

There is a room next to KOS-MOS' maintenance room, with a save point. (Where you have to delivr the curry) It's always worked for me. And all the save points after the first disc.

off: On the EE/IOP and VU tabs, the options at the bottom right corner.(I forgot their name in english, I use the hungarian language in PCSX2). I set both of them to NONE(?) for a few extra FPS, but it broke a whole area. (When you board the U-Tec ship with JR, a big black thing envelops the camera, and you don't see a thing.) I switched back both option to NORMAL, and noticed the save points work after that, without any freeze. Could be that this breaks the save points, or was coincidence, and every save points works after the first disc?

What was the problem?

Change your Iso to Disk 2 and load the game using disk 1 save files and that should work

There is no Disc 2 on Xenosaga 1, only hacked pirate versions of it have 2 discs which we will not give support for.
