Xenosaga Episode I cutscenes unbearably slow help
#1
Hey people! First off, sorry if this is in the wrong place.

So trying to play the Xenosaga (Episode I) for the first time, but I seem to be unable.
When ever I get to a cutscene the game just slows down to the point that a two minutes cutscene takes five minutes.
There's also a little slowdown in battles and just walking around (depending on what's around). And for some reason some times the audio doesn't sync with the video.
I tried changing settings and looking this up but it hasn't helped so far.
Any suggestions?

Oh and if it helps I'm using PCSX2 1.0.0 on Windows 8.
I have:
AMD Quad-Core A8-5500
8GB DDR3 System memory
AMD Radeon HD 7560D Graphics

Thanks in advanced.

EE = about 80
GS = about 60
Does change a lot though.

emulog? What's that? Is it the thing that opens with PCSX2, would that even help?

emulog is located at the logs folder of pcsx2 directory. anyway, try using software mode and set extra rendering threads to 3 and check if, there's any speed up. if that doesn't help, probably your hardware is limiting you.

You'll probably have to keep playing it on your ps2.
That cpu won't cut it for a demanding game like this one.
