tried r1331 and r1426. They was as low as 12fps during shiva summon, and now hitting 68fps

I think due to this improvement as stated in release note:
World in Conflict – performance improvements of up to 30% can be seen in settings
that were previously CPU limited

did you have 12 fps with r1426 before updating your drivers? or did you update your drivers AND upgraded to r1426 and after that compared your fps? cause the newer revisions of gsdx fixed the infamous "ati texture bottleneck", sure that it's not the newer gsdx revision responsible for your fps increase?

i reconfirm with r1331, and it is smooth. is this rev also fix the "ati texture bottleneck"?

For ZeroGS KOSMOS 0.97.1 sse2, it is seems to be improved 8 fps more. Though, it is not so impressive.

don't know which one exactly contains this ati fix for the first time, but i think the revision i currently use already features it. i just doubt that a driver update alone could make such a huge difference, not impossible but very unlikely, especially when there is a known gsdx fix that was introduced lately, which lead to some really extreme gains in fps for some ati users and overall noticable gains for most of them.

@seinfeldx: no, dx10 is another topic.

EDIT: just updated to ati catalyst 9.6 and my minimum fps during the full shiva summon is still 50 fps, exactly the same as with 9.5.
