Yet another GOW II thread
#1
As the title dictate its another God of War thread. I could run GoD II fine the only problem is that PSX2 can't get pass the ***** resolution which is 512x448. I tried to uncheck internal res but it gives be a double image I have seen this game running at 1920x1080 on youtube and I really just want to experience glorious 1080p God of War II. I know there has been a thread like this about 5 months ago (http://forums.pcsx2.net/thread-8918.html...resolution) If there is a thread that already have an answer to my statement please redirect me to that thread.

Specs:
i5 @3.7
OCZ Obsidian@1480
nVidia 9500gt(waiting for gtx 260sli)

Use a different version of GSDX (1398 works well for most games, many games work better with the latest official beta released with PCSX2 revision 1888)

If you want one that is guaranteed to work, compile up a version of the latest SVN. The new versions have a new scaling option which fixes almost all cases of ghosting in almost every game.

GSDx is the graphics plugin. There are multiple versions of it just like there are multiple versions of the emulator. Try different versions of it. I recommended trying 1398, as well as whichever version is released with the latest beta. If neither of those work, read the compilation guide and compile the latest GSDx as it has a new scale option that will fix that problem.

I suggest you read the GSDx thread in the plugin section of the forum. If you have any further questions about the plugin, you should probably ask in that thread as well.
