Afaik, ZoE series are quite GPU demanding.
Try setting gsdx internal res to native
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

Tried, No increase. D: even the main menu is freaking out with an average of like 24 FPS but its moving slower than 10 frames Really weird ><' this game is so much fun too...

Edit: I fixed it Laugh i lowered the Res scale to x4 Native Enabled HW hacks disabled 8bit textures and put MSAA on x8 over 40 frames while in flight mode.

Turn MSAA off and see if that boosts the FPS MSAA can cause issues and slowdowns if the game is gpu demanding like these games are.

ZoE series is demanding on BOTH CPU and GPU last i checked That AMD cpu isnt helping your cause either
#6
Yeah ZoE games are heavily demanding universally. The CPU doesn't help much since it's Zambezi (slower than Phenom II) and it's clocked kinda low as well.

Please elaborate, what do you mean it's Zambezi? also, It was the cheapest CPU i could afford as my last one was a Dual core that got severly corrupted and wouldnt run any 64x OS.

Zambezi is AMD 's codename for 1st generation of CPUs based on Bulldozer architecture (also nicknamed faildozer by gamers since its performances in general gaming are horrible...) read here to know more : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_AMD...processors

to make it short, ZoE is demanding and your CPU isn't strong enough.

GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070

What jesalvein said.

I would recommend at some point upgrading to an FX-6300. It has much better performance overall (roughly 10~15% performance increase) over Zambezi and overclocks better as well. Though I don't know how much this would boost your fps in ZoE, since even Intel users have a hard time running these games. It just goes to show how Kojima's team squeezed as much out of the PS2 as they possibly could (same with Metal Gear Solid 2 & 3 as well, two more demanding games from Kojima's crew.)

Really ? Playing fullspeed in 4x scaling on 7850.
Constant cutscene AND fmv's hangs are really annoying though. Wiki says it was fixed, but obviously that is not the case.
