alternative GPU plugins for the mac build?
#1
I'm asking because the only way I have found to get Megaman X Command mission to work properly is in the windows build (bootcamp, yuk!) with the following settings:

config->advanced
set both clamps to zero
config->configure
GSDX 0.1.14 (SSSE3) - enable logarithmic Z

When I try to use the ZeroGS plugin, the graphics are REALLY messed up! It doesn't seem to align tiles properly (example, the title screen.) In both versions, it's as if it's reading the texture pallet incorrectly (not recognizing boundaries between the textures/not knowing where one texture stops and another begins) if that makes any sense.

Let me know if you need screenshots.

This is all there is as an alternative but from what I understand in 99% of cases it should be better than ZeroGS:

I'm running 0.21.214 already, my bad. I was in windows when I typed this. I dont seem to have zeroGS on my mac build.

As this is a generic zerogs gpu problem, i think you could try asking in zzogl thread. Have you tried enabling log-Z in zzogl options? 0.21.214 doesn't have it enabled by default which leads to very weird texture problems in most games.
