RE: best configuration
I'm not familiar with Linux PCSX2. I did used to use an E2200 CPU with PCSX2, however.

Firstly, your Dell machine probably supports overclocking. So if you boost the clockspeed to 2.5Ghz, or higher, you'd get a performance boost.

Do you know how to enable speedhacks?

What model is your videocard?

RE: best configuration
this :
Quote:Intel® Pentium® Dual CPU E2200 @ 2.20GHz
won't be enough for most games.
Moreover, Linux port is generally less efficient than the windows one.

CPU : I7 2600K 3.4Ghz OC'ed 4.2Ghz
Chipset : P67 Intel Southbridge
GPU : Geforce nvidia GTX 560
RAM : 6 Go

RE: best configuration
The E2200 can often be overclocked to 3Ghz, depending on which batch it came from. 50% speed boost is nothing to sneeze at. It's a crummy CPU, with tiny cache, but... Feasibly, it could run KH2.

RE: best configuration
I'm afraid the Intel G33 is a terrible video chipset. It can't even run Half Life 2, from what I've read. Your computer isn't up to running PCSX2, sorry.
