you can play it about 75% of speed with the wright config
first have the latest SVN here: http://buildbot.orphis.net/pcsx2/
use native res
enable all recommended speed hacks
vu speed hack up to 2
EE speed hack up to 2
use ssse3 version of GSDX in plugin / bios selector ( if your core 2 duo is E7xxx or any higher use sse4 version )
now but your power plan to high performance ( or anything similar Wink )
make an ISO of the game with imgburn program and play using the ISO
try it
have fun

Use VU Vycle Stealing at level 3 (max). Level 2 won't help much. But even with VU at max, that mobile CPU can only run that game at 40 -> 50 FPS.

Edit: What? A Core 2 Duo and an Intel HD? Are you sure? I think it must be Intel GMA 4500 MHD or something similar. I don't think that GPU can handle God of War 2 at native resolution.
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400 | nVidia GeForce GTX 750 | 4 GiB DDR3 @ 533 Mhz | MSI G41M-P28 | Cooler Master RS-390-PMSR-A3 | Xigmatek TYR SD962 | LG Flatron W1943SE | HP KB-0316 | MotoSpeed F60

gow2 is a hell rider!!
your CPU can't hold that to the limit and GPU is too weak for pcsx2
Main Hub:i5-4670(3.4Ghz Factory Clocked),ATi Radeon HD7770(GDDR5+128-bit+1GB),Win 10 SL(x64),ASUS H8M-E,8GB DDR3 RAM
