First make sure no actual disc or image is mounted on physical or virtual drives.

Second... uninstall it from C:\Program Files and install somewhere else immediately before things become worse yet. Seriously, consider not installing any game in that directory anymore, not even native PC games, mainly if it is moddable game. There is a reason even Steam allows installing outside it's own directory structure nowadays.

back to business. Once the above is granted, make sure "Iso" and not "Plugin" is active at CDVD window, then navigate to the actual ISO from the CDVD menu and select it. Once this is done run the game from "Boot CDVD (fast)". Avoid the full except in very few games where it's really needed.

Report back with the results.

You've got what appears to be a good copy of Disgaea, but it looks like you're trying to read it directly from your DVD drive OR via mounting an ISO and then trying to use that as a virtual drive.

Either way, that's not how you should do it. If you're trying to play it from a physical disc, use imgburn (it's free) and create an ISO file from it.

If it's already an ISO, first unmount it from whatever software you were using to mount it (IMPORTANT! You MUST unmount it first) then simply use the "select ISO" button from within PCSX2 to load it.

Disc Image File (.iso) thats the type it is, how do u unmount something? and does the game have to be in a certain folder withing pcsx2?

First delete u'r current iso image u're playing with.recreate iso image with http://www.imgburn.com this software.select dvd directly to make iso image or copy game dvd files to any folder & select it from imgburn.when done creating.go to pcsx2-cd/dvd-iso selector-browse-browse to u'r new iso image created with imgburn-select it.make sure in cd/dvd tab u selected iso,not plugin.then go to system tab & click on boot cd/dvd fast & play game Smile
