Yeah.. but - of course - you must have DirectX 10 GPU to support DX10 functions in programs/games/etc.

@Cain : I saw that problem from guy in his thread in this forum which is he doesnt success to up to date latest directx in his os xp after he already had hack of directx.10. He need latest directx for gsdx plugin. But i dont know if this right or not because i dont have experience about this.

No prob, I meant no offence, just corrected that there isn't actually any problems caused by the hack installation, PCSX2 plainly doesn't work with it Laugh

installing vista just to use dx10 and then noticing that the gpu doesn't support dx10 would be pretty much useless, but you still get an advantage (since dx9 is faster on vista than on xp). so what gpu you have, madhav770?

yea with that gpu you won't be able to use dx10, but you'll be able to use pcsx2 (probably with 2d games and some not so demanding 3d games), so i would suggest buying a newer gpu (maybe from nvidia) that can support dx10 Smile (just bcuz it's an IGP Tongue)
