does anyone know how to convert a .ps2 file to .max?
#1
Hi, I have been using pcsx2 for pretty long time, now I kinda want go back and play my real ps2. I want transfer some of my saves from pcsx2 to real ps2 memory card. However, I have tried using mymc, and appearently it doesn't work. The game I want transfer is Super Robot taisen Z in japanese, so the saves is in some kind weird letter when I transfer (the disk I use is Maxdrive/Ar Max evu, which both not working) Does anyone have successfully transfer the saves from pcsx2 to ps2? Thanks

I do use the latest version, but apperently it did not work at all. I even try to save some file in real ps2 first, then convert the .ps2 file to override those from real ps2 file. But then it does not show in the game for some reason. Can anyone help me?

You could try extracting the .ps2 file with MCExtract v1.01
http://yi-ps2.hp.infoseek.co.jp/cgi-bin/...=MCExtract
and rebuilding it with to a .max save with PS2 savebuilder v0.8x.
But with mymc you should just be able to open the .ps2 file click the game you want then File, Export .max
