does windows7 support dx9

hi there experts Tongue,i only wanna know if windows 7 support dx9 graphics cards,beacuse i have one and i think i will buy this operative system,is well known that runs better than xp,i mean in terms of emulation (pcsx2)
if someone knows please answer me Tongue

Yeah it does. Don't think you'll see any difference versus XP if you don't have a DX10 card to use GSdx in DX10 hardware mode

mmm im not asking much more,maybe a few more fps,but "ANY" im not sure maybe if someone have windows 7 on a dx9 capable card will tell me Smile

I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate x64 just fine on my 7900GTX. Obviously Windows would have to keep support for older distributions of DirectX, otherwise only DX10 games and apps would work in it. Imagine the uproar that would cause. No matter how good it is, if Windows 7 didn't have support for DX9 and legacy apps, nobody would go near it.Wink

Everthing I have is totaly legal...and the Bios 2006 version too...I followed the Guide to dump bios through USB

Win7 fully supports dx9. I know this because newer games i have that only support up to dx9 work fine. there is no difference between dx9 on xp and dx9 on 7. and every card is backwards compatible to at least dx7, that I'm aware of.
