enabling system protection

enabling system protection
i installed registry fixer which as usual destroyed the windows


i get a BSoD every time i boot it

i tried to use restoration point but i need to enable system protection !

i never disable it or done anything to it Angry


how can i enable it using either command prompt or Mini XP ( Hiren 13.1 )


i can't boot !

BSOD is usually caused if your computer is suddenly shut down, ram is not correctly attached or if some kernel/paging files are the cause. Tongue

i used another HDD and installed emergency windows on it the problem is definitely not hardware related Smile


and i already explained the problem i need the solution Wink

If system protection is off for whatever reason, then there isn't any restore point to go back to. Turning it on now won't make restore points in the past that never existed.

So if your registry is trashed and there's no backup, it's time to reformat.

Format the C drive and reinstall Windows. It is the simplest solution that my head can think of at the moment. Mellow

I never use system protection because I hate hidden processes that do anything out of my control. Further more I do not want to waste several GiB of disc space for some backed up system files that I never use.

Also I hate those registry cleaners, speed boosters... and the like. All are fake. After a fresh install of Windows, run your Reg Fixer and see how many errors it finds.

ey buddy do u try to access the powershell through the CMD? if u dont maybe this can help u:

enable-computerrestore -drive "c:\"
vssadmin resize shadowstorage /on=c: /for=c: /maxsize=5%
checkpoint-computer -description "Done"

i have 3 restoration points so they do exist Laugh

installing that registry cleaner made a one Huh

looks like windows knows that he is going to be destroyed by it Angry


so what i need to do is to enable system protection on drive C Wink

Well i didnt know this from 1st hand, but i read about this, u have to acces to comand promt and launch power shell tiping:

powershell

u are going to get something like this:

yopu could also try and sfc /scannow or a chkdsk and hope that fixes it.
