get those errors when trying to edit settings...

this means i can not edit any settings at all... lucky the games still run fine, well the ones i have tried anyway.

Not a bug. Install PCSX2 to a folder you have rights, for example, C:/PCSX2.

its probably the emulators execution and write permissions... particularly, the Authenticated users group might be missing.....

this would prevent it from having write permission to the user profile.

I think I understand Squall... The Emulator itself acts as a user and does not have the permission?

I installed this using the web installer and it installed all in default. I re downloaded it as a zip file and put it in a folder and now it works fine...
