@ shoopdawoop, its not his graphics card 100% sure, GTX460 is one of the top cards, the only ones that are better are GTX 470,480,560,570,580 from nvidia and HD 5870,5950/5970,6870,6950/6970 from ati, something like HD5570 or 9800gt is enough for pcsx2, GTX460 is way beyond those.
@warWeeny, the only difference between FF12 and FF12 Collectors Edition is bonus dvd and metal box instead of plastic, the game disk is 100% identical to regular edition

i beat that game twice using the same revision as you do, no crashes at all, some graphical errors when fighting doctor cid, and massive lag at the end of boshes strongest quikening are the only bugs i had, i recently tried svn 4273 and it works well you should try it maybe it will work for you and fix the crash, also try checking recommended speed hacks it may fix the crash(theres 3 of them says recommended next to them)

I've also found FFXII to crash on me quite a bit, albeit the crashes are random. I've just been testing, though and haven't actually played through the game.

@warWeeny
I suggest you re-rip the game or try a different revision.

Also when you create iso keep it in short directory like C\EmuIso, dont keep isos for emulators in long directories like F:\Program Files (x86)\PCSX2 0.9.7\iso

it is not pcsx2 issue, its probably something to do with the drivers you have, did you try if updating Direct X and nvidia drivers to latest ones fix the problem?

i guess if some people have constant crashes at certain point of specific game and some dont, and both use the same pcsx2 revision the only answer is that pcsx2 reacts differently to different hardware, form me all revisions of 0.9.7 have been incredibly stable i dont ever remember it crashing, 0.9.5 and 0.9.6 use to crash sometimes but not 0.9.7
